- Schedule maintenance visits. Just two visits from an HVAC technician per year can help to improve performance and lower your bills, restoring about 95% of the efficiency of your heating and air conditioning equipment throughout its life.
- Seal your ducts. You waste a whole lot of money if air leaks out of your ducts and into unoccupied spaces, like attics and crawlspaces. And chances are high that your ducts are leaking, even though you cannot see it, mostly due to small cracks and holes between connections. Schedule duct testing today and get your ducts sealed by a professional.
- Replace outdated equipment. Many people keep their older air conditioning and heating equipment around well after the end of its expected lifespan, hoping to save on the replacement costs. But overall, older inefficient air conditioning and heating equipment sometimes costs you more to keep and replace later than you would spend replacing the system today. - Find an efficient temperature. Lowering the temperature to an extreme temperature does not make the air conditioner cool down your home any faster.
